Freedom requires a thriving climate

Our everyday freedoms are tied to the state of our climate. Clean air to breathe, safe water to drink, and the ability to be outside to enjoy pristine spaces for generations to come — these are our basic American rights.

Hello Mr./Mrs. President,

I’m reaching out about something we both value: freedom—the kind that includes clean air, safe water, and a stable environment.

Protecting our environment means a stronger economy. Because clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, and healthy ecosystems foster growth, jobs, and innovation.

A healthy environment means a healthy economy. Because when our air, water, and land are protected, businesses thrive, jobs are created, and innovation can flourish.

We must secure the basics, like air and water, now and for generations to come. If we can’t, then what kind of freedom is that?

Let’s secure true freedom—climate freedom. I urge you to support policies that protect our air, land, and water so we can look forward to a future where we don’t have to worry about the basics.

Looking forward to your leadership on this.
